ENCAP / SERVICES & PRODUCTION SUPPORT

Consider the pack.
Care for the process.

Practical support connects the packaging decision to what happens on the line—and to the people who operate it.

Your product, packaging and artwork connect with equipment, space, utilities and the operating team. Review fit and samples, plan a trial, then agree responsibilities, project costs and timing.

FOR BRAND TEAMS

A launch plan,
grounded in production.

Your packaging idea has a production side. We help review the details that connect them.

Artwork approval, material selection, filled dimensions and the co-packer’s equipment requirements can affect the next step. Reviewing those dependencies early helps identify avoidable gaps in the launch plan.

  • Build a clear briefProduct, preferred format, dimensions, artwork status and target date.
  • Connect pack and lineReview filling access, sealing, registration and the selected co-packer’s requirements.
  • Plan the handoffsAgree approvals, sample objectives, production arrangements and delivery responsibilities.

FOR MANUFACTURERS & CO-PACKERS

A machine choice.
A longer view.

Equipment selection is one stage of the project. Site preparation, setup and the operating team deserve attention too.

Discuss the product, target output, pack drawing and utilities alongside installation, commissioning, training, maintenance and repair needs. The selected model and agreed service scope define the arrangements.

  • Specify the configurationDosing, product handling, packaging compatibility and operating conditions.
  • Prepare the site and teamLayout, utilities, access, setup responsibilities and operator training objectives.
  • Plan ongoing supportMaintenance needs, spare-part identification, troubleshooting and repair arrangements.

EXPERIENCE SHARED BY THE ENCAP TEAM

When a splice meant another adjustment.

On a previous run, the team observed uneven printing, numerous rollstock splices and registration-mark spacing that differed across splices. Tracking required repeated adjustments to complete production, using additional time and film.

That experience informs the questions we ask about print consistency, splices and registration before another order. An observation on the line does not, by itself, establish the cause; material, equipment and operating conditions are reviewed together.

FROM SELECTION TO THE NEXT RUN

Support,
stage by stage.

Use the journey below to identify what your project needs. Services, availability, responsibilities and costs are confirmed for the selected equipment and location.

  1. SPECIFY

    Selection & specification

Review the product, pack, dosing or counting approach, configuration and evaluation criteria.

  2. PREPARE

    Site preparation

Confirm utilities, space, access and the responsibilities for readiness before delivery and setup.

  3. SET UP

    Installation & commissioning

Discuss installation scope, setup, sample materials and the agreed acceptance trial.

  4. TRAIN

    Operator training

Define the operating, changeover, cleaning and maintenance topics relevant to the selected configuration.

  5. MAINTAIN

    Maintenance & parts

Review the maintenance approach, identification of wear parts and arrangements for the equipment in use.

  6. DIAGNOSE

    Troubleshooting & repair

Document the observed issue, model, settings and actions already tried so the next step can be assessed.
